UPSC Recruitment 2026 – Educational Qualification
- Specialist Grade III Assist Professor (Anatomy)
Post-Graduate degree in the concerned speciality (MS/MD/DNB Anatomy or equivalent combinations as specified). At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident / Tutor / Demonstrator / Registrar / Assist Professor / Lecturer in a recognised teaching institution after obtaining the first Post Graduate degree. - Specialist Grade III Assist Professor (General Medicine)
Recognised MBBS + Post-Graduate degree in Medicine / General Medicine (MD/DNB). At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident / Tutor / Demonstrator / Registrar / Assist Professor / Lecturer after obtaining the first Post Graduate degree. - Assistant Editor
Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism or Mass Communication OR Bachelor’s degree with Economics / Statistics / English + one-year Diploma in Journalism / Mass Communication. Three years’ experience of editing and publishing works in book publishing / newspaper / news agency / publicity organisation / Government organisation. - Specialist Grade II (Junior Scale) – Anaesthesiology
Recognised medical qualification + Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Anaesthesiology (MD/MS/DA or equivalent). Three years’ experience after PG Degree or five years’ experience after PG Diploma. - Specialist Grade-II (Junior Scale) – Pediatrics
Recognised medical qualification + Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Pediatrics (MD / DCH). Three years’ experience after PG Degree or five years’ experience after PG Diploma. - Assistant Public Prosecutor
Degree in Law from a recognised University / Institute. Three years’ experience at the Bar. Desirable: Experience as a Government Advocate. - Public Law Officer
Bachelor’s Degree in Law (Professional or Integrated) from a University established by Law in India with two years actual practice at the Bar (to be certified by the Principal District & Sessions Judge / Registrar General of High Court / Supreme Court).
