UPSC Recruitment 2026 – Educational Qualification (As on 16.10.2026)
- Junior Technical Officer (Sugar Technology)
- Degree in Science or Engineering from a recognized University / Institute with:
- (i) Associateship in Sugar Technology from a recognized University / Institute; OR
- (ii) Post-graduate Diploma in Sugar Technology from a recognized University / Institute
- Experience: Three years’ experience in teaching / research / advisory experience in Sugar Technology OR Three years’ practical experience of working in a sugar factory in a managerial capacity
- Desirable: M.Sc. (Chemistry) or M.Tech (Sugar Technology); Experience in drafting / editing of scientific and technological reports
- Assistant Legislative Counsel
- LLB from a recognized University or equivalent
- AND any one of the following:
- Member of a State Judicial Service for not less than 7 years; OR
- Held a superior post in the legal department of a State for not less than 7 years; OR
- Central Government servant with experience in legal affairs for not less than 7 years; OR
- LL.M. with teaching or research experience in Law for not less than 5 years; OR
- Qualified legal practitioner of not less than 30 years of age
- Law Officer
- Degree in Law from a recognized Institute / University
- Experience: Two years’ experience in Legal work as a Legal Practitioner OR Two years’ experience in Legal work in Government
- Specialist Grade II (Junior Scale)
- Recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956
- Post Graduate Degree in the concerned speciality (i.e. D.M. Cardiology or equivalent)
- Experience: Three years’ experience in the concerned speciality after obtaining the Post Graduate Degree
