Ship Building Centre Eligibility Criteria (As on 14.09.2026)
- Construction Assistant ‘A’ (Level 2):
- Secondary School Certificate (10th Standard pass under 10+2 system)
- ITI / National Apprentice Certificate (NAC) or equivalent in the required trade
- Two years experience in the required trade
- Construction Handler (Level 1):
- Secondary School Certificate (10th Standard pass under 10+2 system)
- Certificate from a recognised Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in the required trade
- Fire Engine Driver (Ordinary Grade), Level – 3:
- Possession of a valid driving licence for heavy motor vehicles
- Knowledge of motor mechanism (able to remove minor defects in vehicle)
- Experience of driving a heavy motor vehicle for at least three years
- Pass in 10th standard from a recognized Board
- Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties
- Motor Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade) Level – 2:
- Possession of a valid driving licence for motor cars and light motor vehicles
- Knowledge of motor mechanism (able to remove minor defects in vehicle)
- Experience of driving a motor car for at least three years
- Pass in 10th standard from a recognized Board
- Desirable: Possession of a valid Driving Licence of Heavy Vehicles
Age Limit (As on 14.09.2026)
- All posts: 18 to 27 Years
Age Relaxation:
- +5 Years for SC/ST
- +3 Years for OBC (NCL)
- PwBD: +10 Years (UR), +13 Years (OBC), +15 Years (SC/ST)
