DHS Coimbatore Recruitment 2025: Coimbatore District Health Society (DHS) has issued a recruitment notification for 114 vacancies across various positions, including Multi-purpose Hospital Worker, Account Assistant, Health Inspector, Staff Nurse, Hospital Worker, ANM, Cleaner, Optometrist, Medical Officer, Senior Lab Technician, Dental Technician, Lab – Store Assistant, Audiologist, and Audiometric Assistant. Candidates can download the application form from the official Coimbatore Collectrate website at coimbatore.nic.in. The last date for submission of the completed application along with necessary enclosures is 24th March 2025.
1. MBBS Degree awarded by a university or Institution Recognised by the UGC for the purpose of its grants.
2. The courses must have been approved by the Medical Council of India/NMC. Should have registered in Tamil Nadu Medical Council.
Health Inspector Gr II
Must have passed plus two with Biology or Botany and Zoology. Tamil language Proficiency at the S.S.L.C. level is required. The Directorate of Public Health and Preventive Medicine requires two years of training in Multipurpose Health Worker (Male), Inspector, Or Sanitary Inspector Courses Offered By Reputable Private Institutions, Trusts, Universities, Or Prestigious Institutions, Such As Gandhigram Rural Institute Training Course Certificate.
Staff Nurse
DGNM or B.Sc., Nursing
Hospital Worker/ Support Staff
Should have studied minimum 8th standard. Reading and writing skills are required.
ANM
(i) Must have passed Higher Secondary (+2). (ii) Must have completed the two-year Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery Training Program or Multi-Purpose Health Workers (Female) Training Program offered by the Director of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. (iv) Must be physically fit for camp life; (iii) A certificate of registration from the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council.

8 th Std Pass (Able to read and write in Tamil)

Bachelor of Optometry
Senior Lab Technician
Post Graduate Diploma in Genetic Diagnosis Technology/Cytogenetics Degree in Biotechnology/ Human Genetics/ Molecular Biology/ Medical Laboratory Technician. 1 year in the field of Genetic Diagnostic/Research Experience.
Lab – Store Assistant
DMLT with 1 year in the field of Medical Laboratory Diagnostic/Research Experience.
Dental Technician
Diploma in Dental Technology (with 2 Years post Qualification experience)
RMNCH+A Counsellor
Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Social Work / Públic Administration/Psychology/ Sociology / Home Science/ Hospital & Health Management. 1-2 years work experience in Health Sector / concerned field
Programme – Administrative Assistant
Recognized Graduate Degree with fluency in MS Office Package with one year experience of managing office and providing support of Health programme/National Rural Health Mission (NRHM), It is necessary to have drafting abilities and accounting knowledge.
Audiometric Assistant
Technical person with 1 year Diploma in Hearing, Language and speech (DHLS) from a RCI recognized institute.

Instructor for Young Hearing Impaired Children
Diploma training in young deaf and hearing handicapped (DTYDHH) from RCI recognized institute to look after the therapy and training of the young hearing-impaired children at the District Level.
