Eligible candidates can apply online at nhpcindia.com from 02.09.2025 (10:00 AM) to 01.10.2025 (05:00 PM). The selection process includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT), Written Test (if applicable), and Certificate Verification. Master’s degree in Hindi with English as an elective subject or in English with Hindi as an elective subject at the degree level from a recognized Indian university. Minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD). Experience: 3 years in relevant field, with 2 years at Rs. 27,000–1,05,000 (IDA) or equivalent scale in Central/State Govt./PSU. Age: Maximum 30 years (as on 01.10.2025).
Junior Engineer (Civil) / S1
Full-time 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering from a Government-recognized institute. Minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD). Higher qualifications like B.Tech/B.E. without Diploma not eligible. Age: Maximum 30 years (as on 01.10.2025).
Junior Engineer (Electrical) / S1
Full-time 3-year Diploma in Electrical/Electrical (Power)/Electrical & Electronics/Power Systems/Power Engineering from a Government-recognized institute. Minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD). Higher qualifications like B.Tech/B.E. without Diploma not eligible. Age: Maximum 30 years (as on 01.10.2025).
Junior Engineer (Mechanical) / S1
Full-time 3-year Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Automation Engineering from a Government-recognized institute. Minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD). Higher qualifications like B.Tech/B.E. without Diploma not eligible. Age: Maximum 30 years (as on 01.10.2025).
Junior Engineer (E & C) / S1
Full-time 3-year Diploma in Electronics & Communication/Electronics/Electronics & Instrumentation/Instrumentation & Control/Electronics & Telecommunication/Electronics & Power/Power Electronics from a Government-recognized institute. Minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD). Higher qualifications like B.Tech/B.E. without Diploma not eligible. Age: Maximum 30 years (as on 01.10.2025).
Supervisor (IT) / S1
Graduate with DOEACC ‘A’ level course, or 3-year Diploma in Computer Science/IT, or BCA/B.Sc (Computer Science/IT) from a Government-recognized institute. Minimum 60% marks. Age: Maximum 30 years (as on 01.10.2025).
Sr. Accountant / S1
Inter CA or Inter CMA pass. Age: Maximum 30 years (as on 01.10.2025).
Hindi Translator / W06
Master’s degree in Hindi with English as an elective subject or in English with Hindi as an elective subject at the degree level from a recognized Indian university. Pass candidates eligible. Experience: 1 year in translation/terminology work or research/teaching in Hindi in Central/State Govt./PSU or a Graduate/Diploma in translation. Age: Maximum 30 years (as on 01.10.2025).
Age Relaxation: SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years, PwBD (Gen/EWS): 10 years, PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years, PwBD (OBC): 13 years, Ex-Servicemen: As per Govt. Policy.

NHPC Recruitment 2025 – Selection Process
Computer-Based Test (CBT): Candidates will be assessed through a bilingual (English/Hindi) CBT of 200 marks, 3 hours duration, with 0.25 negative marking for incorrect answers. For JE, Supervisor (IT), Sr. Accountant: 140 MCQs (discipline-specific), 30 Reasoning, 30 General Awareness. For Assistant Rajbhasha Officer, Hindi Translator: 110 MCQs (language-specific).
Written Test (if applicable): Additional written test as per NHPC norms for specific posts.
Certificate Verification: Shortlisted candidates based on CBT merit will undergo document verification, including biometric authentication, at NHPC Corporate Office, Faridabad.
