IARI Recruitment 2024 : Indian Institute of Agricultural Research invites application to attend Interview for contractual positions, of Research Associate (RA) (4 no.); Senior Research Fellow (SRF) (6 no.); Young Professional II (4 no.) and Young Professional II IT (1 no.) under externally funded ICAR project “Enhancing climate resilience and ensuring food security with genome editing tools” (Project Code 12-197-A, 12-197-B, 12-197-C positions). The positions are unreserved, temporary and co-terminus with the project. Eligible candidates can apply through online on or before 12.05.2024.
With Doctoral degree: Ph.D. in Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/ Plant Biochemistry/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/Botany/ any relevant discipline of life sciences with desirable experience. OR with Master’s degree holders: Master’s degree in Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/Plant Biochemistry/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/Botany/ any relevant discipline of life science with desirable experience with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivale overall grade point average, with at least three years of research experience.
Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Master’s degree in relevant subjects (Plant Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/ Plant Biochemistry/Life sciences/ Microbiology) with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s degree. having 1st division or 60% marks or equivale overall grade point average. Candidates having graduate degree in basic Sciences with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree and 2 years masters degree should have NET/GATE qualification and 2 years of research experience.
Young Professional II (YP II)
Master’s degree in relevant subjects (Plant Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/ Plant Biochemistry/Life sciences/ Microbiology or graduate degree holders in relevant Agricultural Sciences/ Engineering/ Technology.
Young Professional II IT
Graduates with at least 60% marks in Computer Application/ Information Technology/Computer Science/ Artificial Intelligence/ Operating Systems/ Software Engineering/ Computer Graphics with one-year experience in the relevant field. OR Masters in Computer Application / Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Artificial Intelligence/ Operating Systems/ Software Engineering/ Computer Graphics.
