UPSC Eligibility Criteria
- Agricultural Engineer: Degree in Agricultural / Mechanical Engineering + 2 years experience
- Medical Officer / Research Officer (Unani): Degree in Unani Medicine + Enrolment on Central/State Register
- Scientist ‘B’ (Botany / Environmental Science / Geology / Physics / Zoology): Master’s Degree in relevant subject + 3 years research experience
- Civilian Medical Officer: MBBS + Compulsory rotating internship
- Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor: MBBS + Post-graduate degree in concerned speciality + 3 years teaching experience
- Assistant Industrial Adviser: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical / Metallurgical / ECE Engineering + 3 years relevant experience
- Veterinary Assistant Surgeon: BVSc & AH + Registration with Veterinary Council
Age Limit (As on 14.08.2026)
- Agricultural Engineer – 33 years
- Medical Officer / Research Officer (Unani) – 35 years
- Scientist ‘B’ (Botany / Environmental Science / Geology) – 35 years
- Scientist ‘B’ (Physics) – 38 years
- Scientist ‘B’ (Zoology) – 40 years
- Civilian Medical Officer – 35 years
- Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Immuno-Haematology) – 40 years
- Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Surgical Oncology) – 43 years
- Assistant Industrial Adviser – 35 years
- Veterinary Assistant Surgeon – 35 years

Pay Scale for UPSC
