Position Overview
You will take complete ownership of quality for large features/products, define test strategy, execute automation across platforms (iOS, Android, Web, API), and ensure predictable, high-quality releases. The role demands strong coding skills and the ability to lead quality processes end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain quality of large features/products including end-user experience
- Define execution path, plan, and prioritize testing activities across multiple releases
- Lead test automation for UI, Mobile (iOS & Android), API, Web, and Performance testing
- Establish predictability and proactively communicate delays or risks
- Break down complex testing stories into smaller executable tasks
- Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in test execution and runtime
- Collaborate with development and cross-functional teams
Minimum Qualifications
- B.Tech / M.Tech / PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline
- 5+ years of software development and testing experience with strong people management skills
- Strong experience in Automation for **UI, Mobile (Espresso, XCUITest, Appium)**, **API (Rest-Assured)**, **Web (Selenium)**, and **Performance (Locust)**
- Proficiency in at least one language: Java, Python, or Swift
- Experience with test automation frameworks, CI/CD tools (Jenkins), and version control (Git)
- Exposure to DevOps stack (Docker, Jenkins, Mesos & Marathon) is a plus
